Big Kira Colored

been screwing around with colors again, trying technique after technique. For the post part, I don't think it's as much "how" to color as "Where" to color. I'm not that fluent on where to place the various colors, so very drastic changes in coloration don't ever seems to work together, they just become a blended mess.

Thus after getting tired of failing to color in doodles of Tsumi, I decided to fail and coloring this pic of Kira I did some time back. I managed somehow to fail at failing and got a half-way decent color on her.

I didn't do the tinge of red and blue like I probably should have but I did try a new technique I found somewhere on here, tinting the lines so that instead of black or shades of black they blended in slightly with the color of what they were surrounding. So the skin lines are a little tan-ish, the pants a little blue, and the hair probably a little too much yellow.
